A Little Update!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! Mine was great! I can’t believe how fast Christmas arrives! I’m not quite ready! Are you?!

So here’s what we know about my son’s back condition: Not much. We have made several trips to Louisville for tests and checkups. He’s on a few medicines that aren’t really helping at all. The Neurologist seems to think it is what they call a “tethered cord” however there is nothing showing up on the MRI. He wants to do surgery. I’m hesitant. This is my 8 year-old child! We’ve been taking him to the chiropractor, who seems to think he can help. We will just have to wait and see. Have I ever mentioned how impatient I am….?

I want to let you all in on a little secret. I’m having a Shabby Apple Dress giveaway in the morning! Be sure to check back and enter for your chance to win!!

My husband is a chiropractor so I know and have seen the amazing things that chiropractic can do for people. Although, yes it does take time. It is always good to start with a less invasive treatment. Surgery espeically for an 8 year old should be the last resort. Surgery can have lasting effects espeically when they get older. My husband is seeing that now in his office. Good luck!
