Work Station

I have been CRAVING a work space!! So I hunted the house over looking for a corner or SOME where I could work! I decided my bedroom was the ONLY place I could snatch a sq. foot or two. So I’m in my room sketching…sketching a little more…then it hits me, I look down at my plans..I RUN out to the garage …will I be able to do it…is it really going to work! This is what I was looking at in the garage…

Now I bet your wondering what I am going to do with all this FREE furniture..yep you read it right FREE…I just picked them up off the side of  the road, well except for the entertainment center a friend GAVE it to me!! YIPPIE!
So this is what my space looked like…..

Yep…plain ole` small space. Time to get building! (Que hammer and saw…buzz, buzz)

(Had to leave the t.v…remember… its the bedroom)

TA-DA!!! MY work station! Now lets see if you can find the pieces I used from the furniture! Ready go….
The upper cabinet is from the entertainment center…My Hubby and I built the shelf over the t.v….I built the paint rack….that is the SAME dresser…the work bench top is the top off the entertainment center…and last but NOT least the leg are the posts off of the head board! I am SO excited over my new work station! I have already used it to make this….

Augh…the perfect final touch to the BEST work station EVER!

WOW! What a great way to combine all of those items. That is really thinking outside the box, or should I say outside the drawer.
Thanks for sharing.

I know that exact feeling of craving a creative work space - I'm still working on mine so for now I'll live vicariously through you. :)
