Bunk bed gone headboard!

I lived with out a head board for SO long I decided NO MORE! I went scrounging in the garage and came across the girls old twin bunk bed I was just storing! I didn’t have many tools at the time so I carried in some of the boards to see if I could use them with  out cutting them…
002Sure enough most of the boards were the perfect size!!! I bought some moulding, painted it all black, put it together in a new way and distressed it! Total cost $14!!!007

I love the headboard, but can't picture how it stared out. I would love to see a before.

@ The country nest....I WISH I had taken a before picture! I keep kicking my self in the rear for that daily! haha The bunk bed started out white...and it was a VERY simple style. It was 2x6 boards in a ladder style at the ends and then another 2x6 down each side of the bed to connect the ends! It looked NOTHING like the head board...thats what makes it so fun! :) Thanks for your interest!
